Cooperative Education (Co-op) provides eligible CTE students with the opportunity to apply their classroom and technical skills in a real-world workplace while earning credit toward their high school program. Co-op is available to eligible CTE students beginning at the midpoint of Grade 11 and throughout Grade 12. Through partnerships with local employers, students gain hands-on experience, develop professional and employability skills, and explore careers in their chosen field. Co-op helps students connect their CTE education to future college, career, and workforce opportunities.
