Community Meetings

Since the Feasibility Study began, the project team has prioritized community engagement and transparency. To date, the Town and School District have hosted three public meetings, including an Educational Visioning session focused on future learning goals and priorities. Two of these meetings included guided tours of the existing school, giving residents the opportunity to better understand current building conditions and the needs driving the project. February 5, 2026, Community Meeting Recap

The South Hadley Elementary School Building Committee hosted a Community Meeting on February 5, 2026 to share project updates and gather questions and feedback from the community. The meeting included a tour of the existing Mosier Elementary School, followed by a presentation covering the project’s partnership with the Massachusetts School Building Authority, the educational vision guiding the work, existing building conditions, preliminary design options under consideration, and associated cost ranges.

Approximately 10 community members attended in person, with an additional 5 participants joining virtually via Zoom. Please check back for the full recap summary and survey results from the meeting.
