- Mosier Elementary
- Welcome

-
Hello there! I am a licensed, American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech-language pathologist. I have worked here in South Hadley since 2004, with prior experience in both school and hospital settings.
This school year I will be working at Mosier Elementary School, yet many of you have met me during my seven years at Plains Elementary, or during my time at Michael E. Smith Middle School or the high school. Please feel free to contact me at any time via email or phone if you have questions regarding your child's speech-language development or speech-language services here in South Hadley.
I look forward to working with you and your child to provide the very best speech-language services possible!
UPDATE 03/2020: Due to the unprecedented closing of public schools to prevent the spread of COVID-19, I have uploaded many activities under the "Interesting Web Resources" tab under "Pages" that can be completed at home with your child. I will continue to add resources over time. If you cannot print, you can look at the document online and complete one item for each turn using any game that you have on hand at home. I sent home packets with my students on Friday, 3/13/2020, but unfortunately students who were absent that day did not receive a packet given our sudden notification and closure. My colleague in the speech-language department, Katy Zraunig, works part time and does not work on Fridays, therefore she was unable to send packets home with her students.
Please reach out to Katy (kzraunig@shschools.com) or myself (rlavelle@shschools.com) with any questions that you may have or for specific strategies for your child. Stay healthy and safe.
Best,
Rebecca M. Lavelle, M.A., CCC-SLP
