Here are the kindergarten and first grade 25, 50, and 100 high frequency word lists.  Make flash cards to practice fluency: choose a group of 10-20 cards to start and set a 1 minute timer; see how long it takes for you to get every word right, then try to beat your time.  Keep adding new cards to the pile. When you can read at least 60 words in one minute, add more cards and increase your time!  I also recommend making 2 sets of word cards and playing Memory or Go Fish.
