POW # 7
A frog escaped from a local pet store and hopped to a local farm. On the first day of his freedom (day 1), he was looking for a late lunch and fell into a well. When the frog fell into the well, the water level was 30 feet from the top. Each morning, enough water comes into the well through an undergrownd spring which results in the water level being raised three feet. Each night, a local family uses water from the well (before midnight) and the water level falls two feet. On what day will the frog, which is floating (and can not jump out of the water), be able to escape? Hint: a graph and/or a table will be helpful.
