Hellooooo everyone! I can't believe we are in the middle of our third week away from school and our normal routines. I hope you and your loved ones are doing well and persevering through these scary and difficult times. It is more important than ever before to lean on those close to us for support and in turn, be there to give them our support. Don't forget to stay away from crowds and practice social distancing when you are near other people.
I am still waiting to hear back from most of you. It would be great to hear how you are doing. I want to set up a Google Hangout meeting with everyone next week. Attendence would not be mandatory but it wouold give us a chance to re-connect with each other and talk about some steps moving forward.
Please see the Assignments tab for some resources and activities that will help to keep you guys engaged and informed throughout our school layoff. Be well everyone and I hope to hear back from you all!!
Hello! I hope everyone is doing well as we navigate through our second week away from school. I want to remind everyone that I am checking my email daily and am here to answer any questions or offer any support that I can. It is important that we keep informed and remain safe during this unprecedented time in our nation's history.
Plese see that I have posted enrichment assignments for Week 2 under the Assignments tab in Helpful Resouces page. Though you are not being graded on this work. pleasae make every effort to complete some, or all, of it.
Take care of yourselves and your loved ones and be well. I hope to be intouch with you guys soon!
Hello everyone. I hope this email finds you all well. I just wanted to check in and let you all know that I will be checking my email everyday and would love to hear how you guys are doing and/or answer any questions or concerns you are having about school or otherwise.
This is difficult and scary time for everyone, but it is important to stay calm and make an effort to contol the things we are able to. Keep yourself and you family safe by following the advice given to us by healthcare professionals. I have included a link to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that outlines the steps we can take.
Ms. Wood has sent out several emails about what is going on at SHHS and around the district, if you didn't see them let me know and I will resend them to you.
I will be posting "assignments" on google though our emails and on this website. These assignments will be ungraded, however, it would be great if you guys could spend some time on the work. It is important that we all keep moving forward with our lives and our studies in these unusual circumstances. Improving our reading, writing, and math skills along with staying in communication will be our focus.
Again, I hope to hear back from you guys, even if its just a quick check in. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you or help you with. Use this time to center yourselves, but stay active as well. Go for a walk or run, read a book, learn how to play guitar (Dev!), don't spend too much time on your phones!!
Be well guys and stay in touch!
