• Homework will be given weekly. It is not meant to be a stressful time; just a review and practice. 

     

    Spelling: Students will receive 10 words per week. On Mondays, a tic tac toe board will be sent home in thier homework notebook. Please choose 3 activities that create 3 in a row. If there is anything that is written work, please include it in the notebook. 

     

    Math: Students will receive math sheets throughout the week. They are double-sided (homework and remembering). Both sides are required to be completed. 

     

    Reading: First graders are required to be reading or to be read to at least 10 minutes every night. Research shows students' fluency levels increase when they are reading every night at home.

    *If students are pulled for additional reading services, they will receive book bags to bring home.*
